Pipe Ramming Installation

LTL Contracting Ltd. was hired for the installation of a 900mm dia. steel casing under Highway 61 in Thunder Bay. A  24” Hammerhead Pipe Ram was utilized, as this tool is capable of installing casings ranging from 24” to 72” in diameter. The Hammerhead Pipe Ram is  powered by heavy duty compressors providing 1700cfm and is often utilized for horizontal drilling operations.
