It is the firm and continuing policy of the management of our companies, that accidents shall be reduced or eliminated by the aggressive promotion of its Healthy & Safety program. Management considers no phase of our operations of greater importance than accident prevention. Accident prevention demands the same executive direction and control as any other method of increasing the efficiency of our operations. It is our policy to comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and all pertinent regulations and to accept this legislation as only a minimum standard. Senior management will actively support the policies of our companies and give equal emphasis and weight as we would with matters of production, cost and quality. |
Responsibilities for this program will follow the established Internal Responsibility System. Each Supervisor will be responsible for safety within the area of his/her supervision, and shall be evaluated accordingly as to his/her performance.
Employees will actively participate in our Health & Safety Program, and will be expected to observe safe work practices and participate in the Health and Safety training offered by our company.
